By now, many F1 racing fans know that Oscar winning director Ron Howard is currently filming a feature movie about the story of the rivalry between James Hunt and Niki Lauda. The big climax of the film will be Lauda's life changing crash that occurred at the Nurburgring in 1976 which left him permanently disfigured with burns on his face and body. Miraculously, Lauda was back in the racing saddle just six weeks later (even after slipping into a coma).

In this latest preview clip, we're treated to brief interviews with cast and crew about the production and how meticulous it is to details. For example, all of the vintage F1 cars were borrowed from private collections in order to insure accuracy. Even the actors portraying Hunt and Lauda look remarkably similar to their real-life counterparts.

Most importantly, however, is the fact that Howard and his production team seem to fully understand the spirit and history of F1. From the looks of it, this clearly won't be some CGI-laden film, but a proper tribute to the sport and the people involved. Expect for "Rush" to be in theatres sometime next year.
