It sounds like an Italian opera.
The restoration has just been completed, even though Jay Leno has owned it for 30 years. The 1969 Lamborghini Espada has a polarizing exterior design. Either you love it or hate it. Under the hood, however, lies a 4.0-liter V12 that creates a sound reminiscent of an Italian opera. Leno's three decades with the Espada have already included a mechanical restoration, involving the engine and transmission only. But a couple of years ago, Leno noticed some body corrosion and a faint smell of smoke.
Now, the smell of smoke in a 60s Italian car is a clear warning sign. Best to fix that crappy wiring job before the whole car goes up in flames. It wasn't any easy job, but Leno, a huge Lamborghini fan, and his in-house team of mechanics have completed their task. The result is a '69 Espada that'll make your heart ache.
