The Bentley Continental Flying Spur is meant to be a "mid-range" high class luxury four-door sedan. It has a 6.0 liter twin-turbocharged W-12 producing 552 horsepower and a top speed of 195 mph, or 200 mph if you opt for the Flying Spur Speed trim edition, which increases horsepower to 600. The Flying Spur is positioned in between, say, a BMW 7 Series and a Rolls- Royce Ghost. It's either for die hard Bentley lovers or those whose friends and neighbors already have the formers.
Not that Bentley doesn't have a more luxurious offering (it does), but believe it or not, there is a slight hole in the market for this car. It has a base price of $183,900, which is also below Maybach territory. For those who are interested in this uber luxury car market, the Flying Spur is considered to be the "bargain" of the group.
