As with previous facelifts, the 2014 Mulsanne won't look too dissimilar from the original model that debuted at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Since its debut Bentley has preferred to concentrate on adding new luxury features to its flagship's cabin than worry about its exterior styling, and aside from expanding its palette to include Dark Cashmere (grey), Portofino (blue) and Damson (dark red), all upgrades for the 2014 MY take place inside. These include new Comfort and Entertainment Specifications and three new hide colors of Damson, Saffron and Brunel (grey).

The Comfort Specification includes new comfort headrests, footrests, fine duck-down filled cushions a new rear door armrest storage compartment designed to hold mobile phones and headphones, and new power-retractable privacy curtains. The Entertainment Specification offers rear picnic tables designed to accommodate an iPad and wireless keyboard, twin, eight-inch LCD headrest screens with built-in 20GB hard drive and DVD player, a Naim audio system and WiFi hotspot. Completing the upgrades for 2014 is a six-piece set of bespoke Mulsanne luggage handmade by Schedoni.
