Bentley is in the midst of creating a performance variant of the Mulsanne, which according to Auto Express will debut at the Paris Motor Show in October. The hand-built range-topping super sedan will maintain its 6.75-liter twin-turbo V8, but with power boosted from 505 to 550 hp, with 0-62 mph to drop below five secs. Weight-saving measures and a tweaked chassis with a stiffer suspension and bigger brakes will accompany the boost in performance for the hotter Mulsanne, similar to the mods made to the Continental GT3-R.
