A little over a week ago Bertone revealed sketches of an Aston Martin Rapide it turned into a wagon and dubbed the Jet 2+2, which only reminded us of the previous Jet 2 that we then included in a feature on Aston Martin concepts (and which you, our readers, named your favorite by some margin in our iPhone app poll). Now Bertone has announced it has updated the latter as well, and will be showcasing it alongside the former at the Geneva show this week. The Jet 2 is based on the Vanquish, but not the current one.

It borrows its underpinnings from the previous model which preceded the DBS which the new Vanquish has in turn succeeded. Bertone unveiled the finished product at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show, but has now brought it up to date. The revised Jet 2 incorporates some styling cues shared with the Rapide-based Jet 2+2 as well as the new Vanquish, but keeps its distinctive rear liftgate with integrated tail-light strip. It's also gained an extra pair of seats in the back of a cabin reupholstered by Foglizzo Leather specifically for the design house's president Lilli Bertone.
