And it's already sold out.
Since 2014, Bentley's Mulliner personalization department has created more than 1,000 bespoke commissions, making dream designs a reality. Last week, Mulliner showcased three themed collections designed specifically for the US market, including four Continental GT V8 Convertibles inspired by luxury yachts.
For the Russian market, Bentley Mulliner has revealed a new design collection inspired by Russian ballet. The first in a series of annual Russian Heritage Editions, Bentley's ballet-themed collection is based on the Bentayga Speed. Paying homage to the graceful art of ballet with a large ungainly SUV seems contradictory, but here we are.
Each of the six special-edition Bentaygas boast unique exterior colors and bespoke interior designs. Out of the collection, three of the Bentaygas feature two-tone exterior finishes. One example is finished in Windsor Blue paint over Light Windsor Blue with a Twine and Imperial Blue leather interior combined with Liquid Amber Veneer.
Another is painted in Silver Storm over Damson with an Autumn and Damson leather interior combined with Koa Veneer. The final dual-tone Bentayga has a Moonbeam over Moroccan Blue exterior, while the interior is appointed with Twine and Imperial Blue leather and Liquid Amber Veneer.
If you would rather have a more subdued single-tone finish, one of the Bentaygas in the collection has a Damson paint theme with an Autumn and Damson leather interior combined with Koa Veneer. Another features a Spectre exterior with a Cashew and Burnt Oak leather interior and Dark Fiddleback Eucalyptus Veneer, while the final SUV in the collection is finished in Magnolia-colored paint, with a Shortbread and Cricketball leather interior combined with Grand Black Veneer.
A silhouette of a ballet dancer also features on the dashboard and is embroidered on the front seats. In addition, each Bentayga in the collection is named after a ballet move, which is displayed on the treadplate.
"We are excited to present the exclusive Bentayga Speed Russian Heritage Collection to our Russian customers," said Christian Schlick, Head of Bentley Russia. "This project is built on the passion for perfection, which Bentley shares with such a grand and sophisticated art as ballet, the central motif of this year's limited edition."
Being based on the range-topping Bentayga Speed, every SUV in the collection is powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 producing 626 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. All six ballet-themed Bentley Bentaygas will be delivered by the end of the year, and each one has already been sold.
