Mercedes will make 350 units of the SLS Final Edition. After that, the SLS AMG and the 6.2-liter V8 will be gone. So, although the special edition model dropped last week, it deserves one final goodbye. Unveiled simultaneously in Tokyo and LA, the Final Edition is based on the SLS AMG GT, matching its 583 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. A carbon-fiber effect hood and new vent design, carbon-fiber splitter, fixed rear wing, unique front bumper inlets and exclusive alloys, sets this apart from the stock model.

0-60 mph is done in 3.6 seconds, 124 mph in 11.2 secs and top speed is electronically limited to 197 mph. Special interior touches include diamond-stitched black leather with contrasting silver stitching, carbon-fiber and Alcantara trim, and a "AMG Final Edition – 1 of 350" badge on the carbon-fiber center console confirms just how special this SLS is. However if that's not enough, buyers can opt for carbon-fiber exterior mirror and engine covers, carbon-ceramic brakes and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
