"Gone in 60 Seconds" is a star-studded automotive epic and gearhead favorite. The 1974 original, starring H.B. Halicki and Marion Busia, is famed for the 1973 Mustang Mach 1 and its 40-minute long chase scene in which 93 cars were destroyed. The 2000 remake, meanwhile, stars Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie along with a 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 known as Eleanor. While the remake has its fans and detractors, Eleanor has become a classic in and of itself.

The remake naturally showcased an replica, and on the latest installment of drive's Big Muscle series, Carroll Shelby's timeless creation is put under the spotlight for our viewing pleasure.
