The McLaren MP4-27 will evoke the spirit of 1994's F1 supercar.
McLaren Automotive has set a very high standard with their initial model, the McLaren MP4-12C. The MP4-12C supercar marked the British Formula 1 racing team-spinoff's first foray into production car building, and at the opening of their high-tech production plant they announced that their next model will be dubbed the MP4-27. The plant, located in Woking, England, opened in grand affair complete with British Prime Minister David Cameron.
The new MP4-27 is expected to be built there and should be a proper successor to the legendary McLaren F1 supercar. It is rumored to pack 799hp and run from 0-60mph in less than three seconds.
