Teasers range in variety. Some of them, like the Ferrari Purosangue teaser, could be turned into a reveal of the new Ferrari SUV with a few seconds in an image editor. Others just show the car, or someone else's for that matter. This time, we're looking at a little bit of both. Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath posted the below video to his Instagram, simply saying "more tomorrow...." and followed by #polestar3.

Evidently, that's exactly what we're looking at. The Polestar 3, that is, not some dude's Insta feed. For now, Polestar has yet to follow up the 15-second teaser video with a press release, an image, or anything at all. Thankfully, a few blurry screencaps show the new car, sans camo, for the first time.

Some of you may remember the Precept concept. A few days ago, we talked about that in relation to the new Polestar 5. At the time, we talked about just how much of the Polestar 5 pulled directly from the super-sweet Precept. We're going to do a lot of that here too. The Precept is very clearly going to be one of those concepts that influence the direction of a brand's aesthetics for ages to come. Sort of like Toyota's early FT-1 concept did way back in 2014.

From what we can tell, the vehicle in this video (which may not be production-spec) will have a glass roof. It better come with some chromatic glass, lest it turns into an oven. Thankfully, this video was taken at night, which shows us another Precept touch, the rear light bar. Again, that also featured on the new Polestar 5 leaks from the other day.

However, it's clear the 3 is going to be an electric SUV of some flavor. The photo above shows a what is certainly a rear hatch. Down the side, we can also see the camera mirrors from the Precept, something US regulations certainly won't allow. At the front, the trademark Volvo/Polestar Thor's Hammer headlights are clearly visible. Those will most certainly be on the production car.

For now, we'll simply have to wait a few more hours to see what Polestar has cooked up. Who knows? Perhaps the brand will drop a reveal on us with no warning. If that does happen, rest assured we'll be rushing to get that information into your hands.
