Back in their heyday, circa 2005, the Ferrari 360 Modena and Lamborghini Gallardo were two incredibly impressive supercars to behold. Some may even say that they were ahead of their time when initially released. Now, a decade later, the two cars are still likely to turn heads, but much has progressed in regards to the style and performance of supercars. The Ferrari 360 Modena is powered by a 3.6-liter V8 engine that produces 400 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque making it capable of hitting 60 mph in 4.2 seconds.

On the other hand, the Lamborghini Gallardo is powered by a 5.0 liter V-10 that produces 513 hp and 398 lb-ft for a 0- 60 mph time of 4.0 seconds. Without taking any other specs into account, the result of a race between these two seems pretty clear cut. What do you think happened in this blast from the past race?
