German tuner AC Schnitzer will be displaying their newly tuned BMW 1 Series M Coupe at Frankfurt.
Tuning specialist AC Schnitzer will be unveiling their latest creation at the Frankfurt Auto Show this week with their BMW 1 Series M Coupe tuning package. The ACS1 Sports Coupe is everything we love so much about the factory-spec 1M, but the German tuner has now upgraded its standard power from 340 to 400hp. In addition, there's an AC Schnitzer chromed "Racing" twin sports rear silencer tailpipe that helps the six-cylinder engine breathe more freely along with added sound.
Because of the extra power, the tuners have added a high performance brake kit for the front and rear axles, which consists of a 6-piston fixed caliper on the front and a 4-piston caliper on the rear combined with perforated, internally vented brake discs and caliper holders. The car also has a fully height-adjustable racing suspension. Exterior aerodynamic components include a carbon front spoiler, chromed front grille, carbon rear diffusor, and the tuner's design elements on the front wings. The interior has also been enhanced with a painted center console and is trimmed in "Valencia Orange."
There's also a unique aluminum gear knob, handbrake handle, and an aluminum-covered iDrive controller. Buyers can also further customize the interior with an aluminum foot pedal set, velour floor mats, a sports steering wheel covered in Alcantara, and either 19-or 20-inch wheels. Pricing hasn't been released and more details will be unveiled later this week at Frankfurt.
