The German tuning company joins a long list of firms that have worked on the BMW 1 M over the past year and their program is made up of performance upgrades and styling enhancements. Under the hood, a Hartge power kit married to a sports exhaust system improves the standard 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six from 335hp to 396hp and maximum torque from 332lb-ft to 391lb-ft. The tuner also claims their 1M Coupe consumes half-a-liter less fuel per 100km than the regular model.

The stock model sprints from 0-124mph (200kmh) in 13.52 seconds, and Hartge's creation shaves more than two seconds off the time, quoting its time at 11.34 seconds. In addition to the power upgrades, Hartge offers a 30mm lowering kit and a choice of alloys, while a styling package includes boot lid and roof spoilers, new exhaust tips, Hartge emblems; the interior gets aluminum pedals and bespoke floor mats.
