It's already a known fact that the People's Republic is one of BMW's largest and most important markets in the world. That's why it's no surprise to hear that BMW is planning on bringing over its lineup to China, including the special 7-Series Steinway & Sons Limited Edition we first covered late last year. For those who may not remember it, the vehicle was created by BMW Individual as part of an exclusive partnership with the piano manufacturer Steinway & Sons.

Just like in other world markets, the 7-Series ode to the classical instrument will be available in China in two variants, the V8 powered 740i and the 760i with 544-horsepower twin-turbocharged V12. They also come offered in the same two color schemes that reflect the contrast between black and white, not to mention that they are reminiscent of the piano keyboard. The interior sports high-quality leathers in either black with white linings, or white with black linings. The 7-Series special edition will only have a production limited of 150 units.
