When the doors open next month at Detroit's Cobo Hall for the 2013 North American International Auto Show, BMW won't be caught with its pants down. The Bavarian automaker will be revealing there to the public for the first time a slew of new vehicles, including the new M6 Gran Coupe, facelifted Z4 and the 4 Series Coupe concept, and has now announced a new special edition as well. The Limited Edition Lifestyle package is being launched on the 1 Series coupe and convertible.

Special features distinguishing the Lifestyle edition include optional special Mineral White metallic paint (one of three colors available for the special edition, alongside dark silver and we're guessing black) and unique 18-inch alloys. The interior, meanwhile, is decked out in brown leather with contrasting stitching, matching sports steering wheel, unique wood trim and, for the convertible, a brown soft top with silver pigments.
