Just add some horsepower and a six-speed manual.
Most BMW enthusiasts likely aren't huge fans of the 2-Series Active Tourer. Nor do they see themselves behind the wheel of the recently revealed 2-Series Gran Tourer – like the former only with two more rear seats. But what if BMW were to add some power, a body kit, and various other M division essentials? The result could be the BMW M2 Gran Tourer. Rendering artist X-Tomi Design originally came up with the idea and, we have to admit, it ain't half bad. This may even be something we'd consider buying.
Give this performance MPV all-wheel drive instead of FWD, up the output of the 2.0-liter twin-turbo four banger from 192 hp to at least, say, 250 ponies, and BMW could have something pretty damn cool here. It'd be even better if a six-speed manual were offered - just like on the now discontinued Mazda5 MPV.
