The E46 M3 is almost two generations out of date, but Prior Design has given it a fresh take with FRP body kit.
The BMW E46 M3, built from 2001-2006, was renowned for its performance prowess. Its 3.2-liter inline-six produced 343 horsepower and was, at the time, the most powerful naturally aspirated engine ever built by BMW (not including engine it built for the the awe-inspiring McLaren F1, of course). German tuning company Prior Design has sought to breathe some new life into the prodigious Bimmer with a new styling kit made out of lightweight high-quality Dura-Flex fiber-reinforced plastic.
Designed for improved aerodynamics, the new M3 styling kit fits all E46 3-Series models both coupe and sedan. The M3 styling kit consists of a redesigned front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper and mounting materials. Available separately or bundled together, the total price comes in at around €960. Prior Design lauds the use of Dura-Flex FRP as it is flexible but stable and easily paintable.
