Following a successful collaboration with the lifestyle apparel brand Kith on a special edition M4, BMW knew it wanted to give the same treatment to another model. After the German automaker teased another special edition, this time based on the 2023 BMW i4 M50 electric sedan we now get to say hello to the BMW i4 M50 by Kith that's limited to just seven units globally (that's 143 fewer than the BMW M4 Competition x Kith). In fact, one of those seven will be auctioned off, meaning only six of them are truly up for grabs.

If you find yourself lucky enough to nab one, you will be getting what might be the prettiest i4 that BMW has built to date. The special edition comes finished in a new color, which BMW has named after the brand partner (Kith Vitality Green) for the first time ever. This green will not be available on any other BMW models.

Aside from the special color, the i4 M50 by Kith also gets an altered hood badge with an additional ring in Kith Vitality Green. BMW doesn't change its famous logo very often, so this is a pretty substantial feature. Inside the new green ring, it lists the Kith partnership, model, year, and the fact that it is an electric car.

Everything else on the exterior is available on a normal i4 M50, but the Kith special edition gets some features that are typically optional as standard equipment including adaptive M chassis, M sports brakes, M Aerodynamic Package, BMW Individual Shadow Line lights, Professional and Plus driving assistants, and M high-gloss Shadow Line exterior trim.

Inside, the i4 M50 by Kith gets a special full-grain merino leather interior finished in Caramel, which pairs beautifully with the green exterior and gives off strong Alpina vibes. The cabin is awash with Caramel leather, including the knee bolsters, steering column, seats, side panelling, and lower A/B-pillars. Even the floor mats are trimmed in caramel-colored leather, and feature an embroidered M logo. As a special touch, the headrests and armrest have the Kith logo embossed in them and the words "KITH Exclusive Edition" are laser-engraved into the dashboard trim.

Since this is based on the M50, the Kith uses two eDrive electric motors that combine to produce 536 horsepower and 586 lb-ft of torque in Boost mode. The sprint from 0-60 mph takes just 3.7 seconds and the range is up to 270 miles. BMW didn't say how much the Kith special edition would cost over a regular i4 M50, which starts at $65,900, but with only seven examples slated for production, we have to imagine it's quite expensive.

To celebrate the second collaboration with Kith, the company also transformed a 1972 BMW 1602 so it matches perfectly with the i4.
