When it comes to German luxury vehicles, Mercedes-Benz has traditionally cornered the luxury segment, whereas BMW has always offered cars focused on true driving dynamics. Cars such as the BMW M3 and BMW M5 CS continue to prove that the Bavarian powerhouse knows how to build world-class driver's cars, and there's only one way new owners can fully experience what these cars are capable of: the M Driving experience. BMW prides itself on this service, and earlier this year revealed its plans for the 2021 experience, and has now dropped another bombshell: it is opening up a brand new center at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2022.

The new center will host a number of new driving classes taught by BMW certified drivers and will include training areas, meeting spaces, displays, and even a rooftop lounge and hospitality area. The new center will sit on 1.5 acres of land, including a sizable visitor parking area, and will feature over 14,000 sq. ft. of usable space.

"The new BMW M Driving Experience Center at Indianapolis Motor Speedway extends not only our valued partnership with one of the most iconic motor sports venues in the world, but also allows us to formally expand our experiential and instructional classes to a totally new region in the U.S. market," says BMW North America's Uwe Dreher. "The thrilling performance of a BMW M vehicle is best experienced from the driver's seat - an experience made even better at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway."

This will be the third performance driving venue in the US, following centers in Spartanburg, SC, and Thermal, CA. There will be four main driving experience programs offered at the new facility. The M Track Experience will take drivers on a track experience that familiarizes drivers with true track driving. M Track days will allow drivers to push the cars to their limits, and the M4 GT4 Experience will offer an immersive full-day track session with a true race car, complete with classroom sessions and real-world instruction. Finally, the test drive experiences will introduce newcomers to the world of M cars. Completion of the new center is set for early in the second quarter of 2022 and promises a ton of fun for BMW drivers. Mercedes-Benz owners are welcome.
