Under the hood lies the 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 from the 760i with double VANOS technology (variable intake and exhaust valve timing), rated at 545 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque. Visual upgrades include the M aerodynamic package, 21-inch V-spoke alloys, and dark chrome accents on the kidney grille, badging and the dual twin-exhaust pipes.

The interior comes swathed in Oyster Nappa leather with contrast stitching, a dedicated door sill plate, Piano Black trim, ceramic finish for the iDrive controller, a/c switch and selector lever, rear reading lights and a 1,200 Watt, 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. The BMW 7 Series V12 Bi-Turbo special edition is available to order until August, priced at 22,600,000 Yen (approximately $220,000), with deliveries starting in October.
