A display of greatness.
BMW’s winning formula for a car is shockingly simple: small, front-engined coupe, rear-wheel-drive, powerful engine, quick-shifting gearbox, and track-focused aerodynamics. You can trace this as far back as the 2002, but most view the E30 M3 as the real beginning of BMW M’s greatness, not counting the very first M car, the M1. While the 3 Series itself has grown in size over the years, BMW has still stuck with that formula, realized with the 1 Series M Coupe and now the all-new M2. Which is your favorite? Can there even be one?
