The BMW M2 Competition is no slouch. In fact, it's one of the best cars BMW currently offers, and its brilliance is part of the reason that the M2 CS is so hotly anticipated. Still, that's not enough for some people, and numerous tuners have got their grubby paws on the slick performance coupe. If upgrading performance isn't for you, the shape of the car is great and has even been deemed worthy of being the canvas for an art car. If you'd rather strike a balance somewhere in the middle, German tuner JMS Fahrzeugteile has a solution that certainly makes the M2 stand out in a crowd.

In the past, the brand has focused on Volkswagens and Audis more, but now the M2 Comp has been given a particularly attention-grabbing silk matte wrap that is intended to emulate the appearance of a race car. This was applied by Schwabenfolia, while Barracuda Racing Wheels supplied a set of 20-inch wheels that also boasts a black and orange color scheme.

On their own, each of these changes may have looked out of place, but together they work perfectly. Helping those wheels look as good as they possibly can is a KW V3 suspension upgrade that lowers the car by around 1.2 inches in front and 1.4 inches at the rear.

However, despite doing a fair amount of work to enhance the car's racy look, little has been done to improve performance - not that the M2 Comp needs it. The engine and its numerous available bolt-on upgrades have been overlooked completely, but an upgraded sports exhaust setup from Eisenmann has been fitted to give the M2C a deeper roar. Pricing for the whole package hasn't been announced but considering that the suspension upgrade alone will set you back around $2,500, we wouldn't expect the other modifications to be cheap either. Is it too much, or just right? We'll let you be the judge of that.
