Watch BMW’s newest privateer racer priced from 59,500 Euros in action.
A new promotional video for the M235i Racing has aired, giving potential buyers – and fans of pocket rocket race cars – a chance to see the racing variant of the road-going M235i in action. Set to be available to privateer BMW teams later in 2014, the new M235i Racing is fully qualified to take part in events like the Nurburgring 24 Hours. BMW equipped the car with requisite motorsport driving aids such as ABS, DSC, traction control, and a mechanical limited-slip differential.
It has an aerodynamic body kit, while power comes from a turbocharged straight-six with 333 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque. Other cool bits of kit include a racing exhaust and catalytic converters, a unique steering wheel with paddle shifters as well as Recaro Pro Racer SPG seats and a six-point racing harness.
