BMW M235i Racing Revealed in the Metal

Track Car

See and hear the race-prepped baby Bimmer on the track.

A solitary image accompanied the reveal of the BMW M235i Racing, so this brief video of the entry-level racing car is most welcome. As well as sporting motorsport driving aids such as ABS, DSC and traction control, the stripped-down variant of the M235i road car has a 3.5-inch wider track and widebody extras to match. In the video, BMW has revealed glimpses of the race-ready interior, complete with full FIA roll cage, and, more significantly, the sweet sound of the 333-hp 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six.

If you like what you see – and hear – the M235i Racing comes in at 59,000 Euros (around $80k) complete with all the requirements for racing on the Nurburgring in the VLN Endurance Championship and Nurburgring 24 Hours, as well as at international BMW Sports Trophy events.
