Tuner offers final farewell package to the outgoing M3 Coupe.
As BMW readies to wave goodbye to the M3 Coupe and say hello to the M4, tuners are preparing final aftermarket packages for the high-performance two-door with German-based tuning house Alpha-N Performance the latest to announce some special pieces for the current-gen BMW M3. Dubbed the Alpha-N BT92 program, the styling part of the package includes a carbon-fiber body kit, made up of new bumpers, a lower front spoiler, hood, wider fenders, side skirts, rear arch extensions, boot lid spoiler, and integrated rear diffuser.
An Ohlins coilover suspension combines with 19-inch three-piece S3 alloys, while inside Recaro Sportster CS seats come with matching door panels and rear bench all trimmed in Alcantara. Power upgrades come way of a stroker kit including a new crankshaft, piston and connecting rods that increases displacement of the V8 from 4.0 to 4.6 liters. That's combined with a remapped ECU and MAC carbon-fiber air box that sees output boosted by 76 hp and 51 lb-ft to 490 hp and 346 lb-ft of torque. The result is a 0-62 mph time of 4.5 seconds and 195 mph top speed.
