BMW M3 Pickup Goes Drifting

Drifting

Now there’s a headline you probably weren’t expecting to read today.

BMW’s elaborate April Fool’s Joke of 2011 involved a E92 BMW M3 pickup doing laps at the Nurburgring. The so-called ‘El Camino’ was awesome and is still used as a workshop transport vehicle for the M Division. We’ve subsequently reported on a M3 ute for sale, but this has to be the pick(up) of the bunch. This E46 M3 truck has been caught drifting at a recent track event by our mate Marchettino, looking pretty sweet in Monster Energy livery. Especially when going sideways.

Do you think this kind of thing will catch on? We hope so,and look forward to seeing a Porsche Ute in the near future.
