Germany's renowned BMW tuning specialist AC Schnitzer has revealed its aftermarket program for the M6 Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe consisting of aerodynamics and performance upgrades. First up the 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 has been bumped from 560 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque to 620 hp and 583 lb-ft, resulting in a new top speed of 190 mph. A new suspension lowers the M6 by 15 mm at the front and 25 mm at the rear, having the duel effect of improving handling and enhancing the high-performance 6er's already sporty profile.
Aesthetic and aerodynamic upgrades come in the form of a chromed front grille, carbon-fiber front and rear spoilers, and rear diffuser, while other mods include the tuner's AC Schnitzer sports rear silencer and chromed twin tailpipes, limited interior options, and weight-optimized 20- or 21-inch wheels.
