BMW tuning specialist Manhart Racing has announced a new aftermarket program for the BMW M6 suitable for the Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe. Stage 1 of four performance upgrade kits offers an ECU remap that boosts the 4.4-liter V8 to 620 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque. Stage 2 adds a new exhaust system and downpipes for 20 more horses and 29 lb-ft of torque, while Stage 3 includes a carbon-fiber air intake system and an MHR axle back sport silencer that takes output to 670 hp and 582 lb-ft of torque.

The ultimate Stage 4 kit goes one step further thanks to an MHR performance box, with output rated at 700 hp and 634 lb-ft of torque. Manhart also offers a range of wheels including 21-inch three-piece MHR08 Track Spec by ADV.1 alloys in black or brushed, complemented by a coilover lowering suspension. Rounding off the package is a valve control system for the exhaust connected to the M button with 90- or 100-mm tailpipes.
