BMW Prepares 1 Series Facelift

Spy Shots

Modest nip/tuck for the 1 Series should be unveiled in Paris.

New spy shots reveal it’s time for the 1 Series to get a mid-life refresh. BMW has decided upon more prominent kidney grilles, with slim vertical strakes as seen in the refreshed M5 and M6. The lights and front bumper will be jazzed up, with modest upgrades also taking place at the rear. A new sports steering wheel is expected to feature in the cabin, while powerplants should see improvements across the board, with more power, better fuel economy and reduced CO2 emissions. Expect the refreshed BMW 1 Series to debut at the Paris Motor Show in October.
