No paddle shifting here, just engine noise and instinct.
Recently we brought you footage of a McLaren P1 GTR lapping a race track at the hands of a skilled driver, but its ancestor, the F1 GTR wanted to remind you that it's nothing to sleep on. With a wailing 6.0-liter BMW V12, this car is no slouch. In fact, it somehow manages to recruit all of its 600 horsepower and hit a top speed of 240 mph, faster than many higher-powered supercars (looking at you supercar trinity). Its only fitting that BMW driver Bill Auberlen is piloting the BMW powered car.
Watch as he wrestles with the manual transmission (remember those?) to squeeze out the best lap time possible.
