BMW Readies M3/M4 for Production

Spy Shots

Latest spy shots reveal BMW is working hard to prepare the new M3 and M4 for Detroit.

Following the announcement the all-new M3 sedan and M4 coupe will make their debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, British publication Auto Express has revealed an M4 concept will preview the production variant at next month’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California. But these latest spy shots show the Bavarian carmaker still has things to work on with its new M cars, not surprising given the M4 uses 80 percent different parts to the M Performance clad 435i such as a bespoke modular engine, reworked suspension, seven-speed twin clutch box and carbon-fiber bodywork.
