Just a few days after revealing full specs and pictures of their all-new 6-Series Gran Coupe, BMW has unveiled the M Sport package for the four-door coupe. However, it's not to be mistaken by the M high-performance version, which will be launched at a later date (most likely a year or so from now). BMW says the new package was developed especially for the Gran Coupe and will be available when the car goes on sale.

According to the official press release, the package will include an M aerodynamics package with bespoke body components for the front end, side skirts, and rear apron.

The exhaust tailpipe will be dark chrome and there's also a black-painted brake caliper, LED foglamps, a sports exhaust system, and standard 19-inch (optional 20s) light-alloy wheels in an M double-spoke design. Special exterior paint colors will include Carbon Black metallic and Imola Red non-metallic. The interior will also be decked out with all of the typical BMW bits such as M Alcantara/leather sport seats with blue contrast stitching, an M leather steering wheel with gearshift paddles, and aluminum hexagon interior trim stripes. BMW also released this new video with designers discussing the Gran Coupe's interior and overall design strategy.
