After a couple of teasers to promote the resurgence of the BWM Films initiative, the full thirteen minute short is out, and it's every bit as good as we expected. While there are essentially adverts for the brand, they're done with a budget second to none, evident with the big names seen in the cast and crew. This one was directed by South African director Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Chappie, Elysium) and features Clive Owen as The Driver, Dakota Fanning as No. 5, Jon Bernthal as the bad guy and Vera Farmiga as the creator.

Of course we can't forget the real star of the film, the all-new G30 BMW 540i M Sport. We were hoping for a true M-Car but this will definitely do.

The storyline is interesting and there's plenty of action packed into this thirteen minute film. There's some good driving; it could be called great driving, but while this is the new film with a new car, the driving isn't quite on par with the original short film series called "The Hire" that was directed by Guy Ritchie featuring his then wife Madonna, and the then new BMW E39 M5. There were eight films in the original series, so let's hope we see more added to this new one too.
