BMW Throws the 8 Series a Parade for its 25th Birthday

120 cars participate to hail one of the coolest BMWs ever.

It has been 25 years since the BMW 8 Series was introduced at the 1989 Frankfurt Motor Show, making production and becoming one of the cars we all loved to drool over when we were kids. With only 30,621 built during its ten years of production, the 8 Series became an all-time favorite for many gearheads, who lusted for the 12-cylinder version that came with 381 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque in post-1993 versions.

Marking the car’s 25th anniversary, BMW threw a big parade in Munich last week, inviting worldwide owners to participate in the celebration. Dozens of cars participated in this party, and joined forces to make up this awesome photoshoot.
