Can't wait for the next-gen X6M to arrive? Hamann has the answer.
German tuner Hamann feels BMW didn't go far enough when it gave the X6 a facelift at the start of last year, and clearly can't wait for the next-gen model to arrive, so it has created an all-encompassing aftermarket package for the high-performance variant of the luxury SUV. Dubbed the Hamann Tycoon II M, the tuning program includes a widebody kit made up of a front bumper spoiler with integrated LED DRLs, specially designed side skirts, and roof and rear lid spoilers.
Other exterior mods consist of a choice of 23-inch Anodized alloys and 22-inch Evo Black Line rims, a rear silencer, and carbon-fiber hood. By adding catalytic converter pipes and optimizing the ECU Hamann has upped the X6M's output from 555 to 670 hp and 502 lb-ft to 701 lb-ft of torque. With the speed limiter removed, top speed now comes in at 187 mph. Inside, a leather-wrapped three-spoke sports steering wheel has been fitted alongside Alcantara applications, carbon-fiber trim, a 200 mph speedometer, illuminated stainless-steel scuff plates, and black anodized aluminum pedals.
