If you've been on the fence about buying a BMW X5, X6, or X7 SUV, you now have more options to choose from. As part of a spring update, BMW's flagship SUVs have been updated with new personalization options including upholsteries, dashboard ornaments and BMW Individual exterior colors and interior trims. All these new options can be visualized on BMW's online configurator.

Out of all three models, the new BMW X6 has received the most comprehensive update and is now available with an expanded choice of leather trims. New customization options include Vernasca Beige/Black and Vernasca Cognac leather, as well as new BMW Individual leather upholsteries in Merino Tartufo and Merino Ivory White/Night Blue.

For the first time, the BMW X6 can also be finished in striking Tanzanite Blue II metallic and Ametrin metallic BMW Individual exterior colors, which cost an extra $1,950 each, and fitted with 22-inch Individual alloy wheels featuring a V-spoke design. These wheels are also already available for the X5.

In addition, BMW Individual Merino Tartufo and Ivory White / Night Blue leather upholsteries, Fineline Stripe high-gloss brown and BMW Individual silver grey ash wood trims have been added to the options list for the new X6 as part of the spring update.

New customization options for the X5 and X7 include several Vernasca and BMW Individual Merino leather upholsteries. Currently, the three-row BMW X7 is not available with the Vernasca Beige/Black leather upholstery, but most of the new customization options for the X5 and X6 have carried over. From August 2020, new BMW Individual accessories will be available for the X5, X6 and X7, as well as the high-performance X5 M and X6 M.

Sadly, BMW has no plans to make a high-performance X7 M. However, rumors suggest an even more luxurious X8 SUV is coming, which may only be sold as M Performance and M models.
