By now most of you have heard about the passing of actor/musician/poet/photographer, and all around cool guy, Leonard Nimoy. Or perhaps you best know him as Mr. Spock. Unlike Vulcans, who in the Star Trek universe have lifespans up to a couple hundred years, Nimoy died last Friday at age 83, losing his battle to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. We can't say for sure whether or not Nimoy was a tried and true gearhead, but he certainly had an appreciation for cars.

To celebrate his life and work, we're re- posting that awesome Audi commercial Nimoy filmed back in 2013 with fellow actor/Spock, Zachary Quinto. "The Challenge" pairs the two Spocks up in a race to the golf club in an Audi S7 and Mercedes CLS. Farewell, Leonard Nimoy. Boldly go to the great beyond. You lived long and prospered.
