We're used to seeing plenty of common automotive rivals go head to head both on the track and off-road. But when it comes to a true track performance car facing off against a 4X4 beast, we're clearly in unchartered waters. This 800-horsepower Baja Trophy Truck is a hand-built desert monster that's capable of speeds up to 140 miles per hour. Pitting it against the new Ford Mustang Boss 302 on the dragstrip as well as at Willow Springs Raceway is definitely not the most likely matchup, but one we're keen to watch just the same.

Given that the Boss 302 is powered by a 444-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 and built for running on asphalt, and that the Baja racer is built for the dirt, it could be anyone's game. Check out the action in the video produced by Hot Rod Unlimited and see why we think a Baja Trophy Truck would be the ideal escape vehicle for when the zombie apocalypse strikes.
