ForTwo Brabus Xclusive Red Edition slides into Geneva.
When it comes to high-performance cars, one of the last things that come to mind is a Smart city car, especially the tiny ForTwo model. The minuscule car is not much more than a scooter, with a 1.0-liter engine, 70 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of 12.8 seconds. But surprising Geneva Motor Show visitors, Mercedes-Benz tuner Brabus unleashed this special Xclusive Red Edition Smart ForTwo, turning it into something quite different.
The Brabus Smart gets a turbocharged 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine, making 101 hp and fitted with a sports exhaust system and Brabus sports suspension. Sitting on 17-inch wheels, the micro car also receives titanium-colored headlights, leather seats with red instrument panel stitching, a Brabus 3-spoke steering wheel with shift paddles and "softouch" gearshift functions. Available only in Europe, the special ForTwo will start at $31,552, with deliveries scheduled for late summer.
