ForTwo Brabus Xclusive Red Edition slides into Geneva.
When it comes to high-performance cars, one of the lastthings that come to mind is a Smart city car, especially the tiny ForTwo model.The minuscule car is not much more than a scooter, with a 1.0-liter engine, 70horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of 12.8 seconds. But surprising Geneva Motor Showvisitors, Mercedes-Benz tuner Brabus unleashed this special Xclusive RedEdition Smart ForTwo, turning it into something quite different.
The Brabus Smart gets a turbocharged 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine, making 101 hp and fitted with a sports exhaust system and Brabus sportssuspension. Sitting on 17-inch wheels, the micro car also receives titanium-coloredheadlights, leather seats with red instrument panel stitching, a Brabus 3-spokesteering wheel with shift paddles and “softouch” gearshift functions. Availableonly in Europe, the special ForTwo will start at $31,552, with deliveriesscheduled for late summer.
