This could be your last chance for a 464 hp Caddie sedan.
The Cadillac coupe as we know it is dead and, chances are, it's not coming back. Not long ago, production officially came to an end for the Cadillac ATS and ATS-V coupe and sedan. The American luxury brand has a long history with coupes, but that's all in the past now. Crossovers and SUVs are what drive sales today, though some sedans, unlike the CT6, remain profitable. But what if you somehow missed out on the chance to buy a brand new Cadillac ATS-V? Kicking yourself for not making the purchase? Well, perhaps you have one last chance.
Up for sale at McLaughlin Cadillac in Illinois is this new 2018 ATS-V sedan with only 5 miles on its clock. Painted in Red Obsession Tintcoat with a Jet Black leather interior, this 464 horsepower and 444 lb-ft of torque BMW M3 fighter features a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 and a six-speed manual. Power, of course, is directed straight to the rear wheels only.
Typically, an eight-speed automatic was more commonly found in the ATS-V, making this particular example even more special. Other features include a 10-speaker premium Bose audio system and red Brembo brake calipers. It also comes equipped with the Driver Awareness Package which includes Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, and Rear Cross-Traffic alert, among other things. Sound good? It gets even better.
The dealership lists this ATS-V sedan's MSRP as $72,930, but there's a price cut. A very big price cut. There's a total of $12,030 in savings which lowers the price to a darn reasonable $60,900.
The ATS-V is due to be replaced by an upcoming high-performance version of the CT4. The CT4-V, as we learned earlier, will not be nearly as powerful as many predicted. Instead, Cadillac is expected to shoehorn some other engine under the CT4's hood. Will it exceed the ATS-V's output? We'll hopefully get that answer sometime next year. But for now, this 2018 ATS-V sedan is just sitting in the dealership showroom with an outstanding price.
