Breaking: 2013 Chevrolet Malibu Picture Leaked Online

Just as GM posted a video featuring automotive spy photographer Jim Dunne discuss how automakers struggle to keep their prototypes hidden from the spy lens during their testing phases, a new image of the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu leaked online. There's a camouflaged Malibu prototype in the video, but that's nothing we haven't seen before. And just as we were about to post it, the image of the uncovered '13 Malibu was leaked.

Although there's only one picture, what's immediately obvious about the car is that it's more of an evolution of the current model with better sculpted sheetmetal and more defined front headlights. No official picture of the taillights was released (yet), but we already know that it bears some resemblance to the Camaro's design. After looking at the teased interior shots, it's obvious that GM has big plans for the Malibu as they're packing in the technology. The new Malibu will have its official debut at the Shanghai Motor Show.
