There was no shortage of electric restomods on display at SEMA this year. Gateway Bronco transformed the original Bronco into an electric off-roader and a fully electric Honda S2000 gave the popular Japanese sports car a new lease of life. We'll be seeing more electric restomods on the road soon because Everrati Automotive is expanding to the US. Based in the UK, Everrati specializes in restoring iconic cars and futureproofing them with electric powertrains.

Everrati's retail expansion to North America comes in response to increasing demand for electric restomods in the US. According to Everrati, many of the company's recent sales were from US clients.

Back in July 2021, Everrati partnered with Superformance, a US manufacturer of 1960s-era continuation sports cars. The two companies joined forces to build the first electric Ford GT40. However, the UK technology company is perhaps best known for its electric Porsche 911 that beat Porsche to the punch. Based on a 1991 964-generation model, Everrati's electric Porsche 911 produces 500 horsepower and offers a range of 150 miles. Everrati also sells electric versions of the Land Rover Series IIA and Mercedes-Benz W113 SL 'Pagoda.' With an increased presence in the US, we won't be surprised if Everrati adds electrified versions of classic American performance cars like the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Corvette to its lineup.

To expand its global presence, Everrati has appointed Amit Chandarana as its Strategic Advisor. Chandarana has previously worked in marketing roles for Fiat Chrysler and Toyota and will be tasked with "building the company's sales and marketing platforms and client-facing presence in the region." Formula E's Commercial Director David Warren is also joining Everrati as a Board Advisor.

"We are excited to be embarking on this next stage of our development as a leading EV technology company. Momentum is most definitely behind us," said Justin Lunny, Founder and CEO of Everrati Automotive Limited. "Since we founded the company in 2019, our operations have been based in the UK, but in order to expand our global footprint and bring our products to key overseas markets, it's time to turn up the voltage."

"With surging demand from US customers, we are rapidly establishing new operations in North America. Our current product portfolio continues to attract universal acclaim from the world's media and our discerning customers. I am delighted to announce that David and Amit are joining our leadership team. With their expertise, we are busy putting plans in place to bring Everrati vehicles to the US first and then to other new markets. Watch this space."
