Brothers Get Stuck at the Nurburgring

Nurburgring / Comments

An insider's view of what it takes to race a V12 Vantage GT3 at the Green Hell.

Ferdinand and Johannes Stuck have racing in their blood. Grandsons of former F1 driver Hans Stuck, and sons of VW motorsport chief Hans-Joachim Stuck - both legends in their own right - it was only a matter of time before the Austrian brothers made their motor racing mark. Ferdinand began his racing career in the Porsche Carrera Cup and Johannes started off in touring cars. They recently competed together in the Nurburgring 24 Hours, and have documented the experience on film.

Having taken a GT3 Gallardo to second place in last year's GT Masters Championship, they expected to make an impact in this year's endurance race while piloting an Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3. Things in motor racing rarely go according to plan, though. Watch the short film to see the challenges with which the brothers Stuck were met.
