Bugatti revealed the spectacular Chiron Super Sport in June. Whereas the Chiron Pur Sport was engineered to handle more sharply, the Chiron Super Sport pampers its occupants in sublime comfort all the way up to its 273-mph top speed. Now, customers in the United Arab Emirates have become the first in the Middle East to drive the Super Sport. Don't worry about the hot climate because Bugatti's torture testing includes subjecting its cars to extreme heat. That's just as well since the Super Sport encountered temperatures of over 90 degrees at the Dubai Autodrome.

The Dubai Autodrome has 16 corners, sweeping bends, and straight sections that allow for full-throttle blasts. For drivers unaccustomed to a circuit like this and a car like the Chiron Super Sport, it can be rather intimidating.

That's why Bugatti's two test drivers, Andy Wallace and Pierre-Henri Raphanel, are the first to showcase what the Super Sport is capable of on the circuit. After that, the customers are allowed to get behind the wheel of the 1,577-horsepower titan.

"The Dubai Autodrome gives customers the chance to experience what these extreme hyper sports cars have to offer," said Kostas Psarris, Regional Director Middle East & Asia. "The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is the quintessence of luxury and speed, and is therefore a perfect match for our customers in the Middle East."

The Middle East is a popular market for Bugatti. Previously, customers of the Chiron Pur Sport also got to experience that car in Dubai for the first time. The Chiron Super Sport is a different beast, yet no less compelling.

Its longtail body was extended by around 9.8 inches which benefits the car's handling and balance at high speeds, and it'll get to its top speed of 273 mph with remarkable ease. It takes just 2.4 seconds to reach 62 mph from a standstill, 124 mph takes just 5.8 seconds, and 0-186 mph is done and dusted in 12.1 seconds.

One can only imagine the thrill of planting the loud pedal in the Super Sport at the Dubai Autodrome. Unfortunately, you'd need 3.2 million euros (around $3.7 million) for the privilege. The new Bugatti Chiron Super Sport will begin reaching customers early next year.
