Bugatti is not having any financial trouble. In fact, the Molsheim-based automaker revealed back in August that it is completely sold out through 2025, with the inimitable Chiron and its many variations proving highly popular with the world's wealthiest. The automaker has been keeping us up to date on its production, which you may recall would be limited to just 500 units of the Chiron. Earlier this year, the last Super Sport 300+ was delivered, following on from the last European Chiron models heading to their owners in June.

Now Bugatti has revealed that it is entering the final phase of production as it has just completed the 400th Chiron, a Super Sport model produced in a spectacular naked carbon fiber finish.

The body's bare carbon fiber has been tinted a dark green shade that looks absolutely exquisite and serves as a fine showcase that no two Chirons are exactly alike. Speaking about the level of quality and detail that goes into each example, Bugatti President Christophe Piochon said, "Simply installing the carbon fiber panels over the advanced monocoque chassis requires a level of precision that only the most skilled craftspeople possess. Our painting or finishing process is so detailed that to achieve the desired effect requires up to eight layers in the top coat alone, each one polished to a perfect, deep and lustrous mirror finish. This level of detail can only be achieved with the right blend of passion and expertise, and to do it to such a high standard so consistently over 400 vehicles and beyond is what defines Bugatti."

With exposed carbon, the finish is obviously much more difficult to achieve, as each panel's weave must match up with those of its neighbors to create one unbroken flow across the body, and there can be no imperfections in the material itself. The wheels are pretty special too, with these constructed of magnesium, while the engine cover is finished in "Nocturne" with touches of "Fierce." This accenting scheme is carried through to several other details, including the Horse Shoe grille and the EB wheel caps.

Inside, the full leather upholstery is presented in Green and Beluga Black for the seats, with Beluga Black reappearing throughout the cabin. The steering wheel features bare carbon fiber, while Black Anodized trim elements and the optional Sky View roof complete the luxurious look and feel.

Once Chiron production comes to an end, we can look forward to the W16 Mistral and the track-only Bolide.
