These are the guys helping to preserve raw horsepower.
Not everyone is lucky enough to have a job that comes with so much love and passion that it really can’t be considered plain old work anymore. This is just the case for the guys at East Bay Muscle Cars, a small garage and custom car builder in Northern California. Their specialty, however, is muscle cars and the way in which they’re reimagined for the 21st century. From the outside, these creations maintain their classic appearance, but once you pop the hood it’s a different story.
Using modern V8s and electronics, cars like this 1965 Buick Riviera and 1969 Chevy Camaro featured here may have been left untouched. Not that all original is a bad thing, but when you can find the right balance between old and new, a classic muscle car can be turned into a one-of-a-kind treasure.
