At the unveiling of its new MP4-28 Formula One car McLaren put on a bit of a show, with new boy Sergio Perez arriving in a 12C Spider and main man Jenson Button taking control of a camouflaged P1 supercar prototype, codenamed the XP. A parade of historic McLaren cars kicked off the launch event, including 2008's championship-winning MP4-23 and Ayrton Senna's phenomenal 1988 MP4/4. McLaren has high hopes for 2013, having suffered somewhat of a barren spell in recent years.

Its last Driver's Championship was taken in 2008 and it's been 15 years since its last Constructor's Championship. The British carmaker also expects big things of its upcoming supercar, with the P1 to make its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
