C63 AMG Sedan and Wagon Burn Rubber Ahead of Paris Debut

As Mercedes-Benz puts the finishing touches on the next-generation C63 AMG prior to its planned debut at the Paris Motor Show in October, the highly-awaited sedan and wagon hit the Nurburgring for some final rounds of testing. The new M177 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that will underpin both body styles is rumored to be a beastly 480 horsepower powertrain in its base form, delivering up to 580hp in higher-spec models. Both will also benefit from the new 7G-MCT SpeedShift transmission.
