In recent weeks we’ve seen the Stingray do battle with a host of domestic and international sports cars, with Edmunds pitting the car against a host of rivals. The end result was that the new Corvette is awesome in almost every way imaginable. Hennessey has also taken the Stingray to the strip, while plans are afoot for various aftermarket packages. But how does it compare to the outgoing model?

That Racing Channel’s latest production gives us the chance to find out, pitting a stock C7 Corvette Stingray against a C6 Z51 Corvette fitted with modified intake and exhaust systems.
